A Maine inmate who walked off a jobsite last week, has been arrested.

45-year-old Brian Day was working a jobsite in Thomaston, when he walked off the site, last Monday.

He was arrested in Rochester, New Hampshire on Saturday with a companion from that area.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Day was sentenced this past October to 3½ years in prison for offenses including theft and forgery and was being held in a jail in Warren.

The Department of Corrections didn’t say if Day will face any charges for evading authorities.
