A political PAC funded by a murdered Maine philanthropist, is spending money for online ads for a Republican gubernatorial candidate.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Bobby Charles is receiving support from Reclaim Maine, a political group funded by the estate of Robert Fuller Jr. who was murdered in a Maryland nursing home, last month.

Recent polling finds Charles the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for the Governorship with primaries coming up in June.

Charles’ campaign has also received $20,000 from an old classmate and now Florida businessman, Stephen Ritzi.
