There were no serious injuries after an all-hands fire in Scarborough Wednesday morning.
Crews were called to a home on Spurwink Road around 6 a.m. after smoke was seen coming from a second-floor bedroom.
Crews from Scarborough, Cape Elizabeth and Central Maine Power responded to the scene.
The flames were brought under control in under 30 minutes.
All five occupants made it out of the home, while one was evaluated for possible smoke inhalation but refused transport to the hospital.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for possible dehydration and has since been released.
The fire was found to be electrical, but the specific cause was not released.
Local code enforcement posted the home “Against Occupancy” until the electrical issues can be resolved.
