Hannaford recalls Their Food Items For the Second Time in a Week

Maine supermaket chain Hannaford has announced their second food recall in a span of a week.

They announced on Saturday, a recall from their Turner store, on a number of their house made fruit platters, bowls, and cups because they may’ve been expose to a cleaning solution.

The items have a September 14 sell-by date and could’ve been bought on Friday, September 11. before 3 pm.

They are:

  • Large Watermelon Cup – PLU 7085
  • Large Tri-Melon Cup – PLU 7094
  • Large Traditional Fruit Cup – PLU 7091
  • Traditional Fruit Bowl Salad – PLU 1031
  • Cut Fruit Platter – PLU 1028
  • Mango/Watermelon/Blueberry/Strawberry – PLU 390
  • Watermelon – PLU 6809

Thursday the company recalled ground beef sold at the Yarmouth store, because the packaging may contain foreign material.

Customers can return the items in store for a full refund.
