A sheep is back with its flock after wandering away in Augusta Sunday.

Augusta Police say the sheep was roaming near Cony and Stone Streets east of the Kennebec River.

Officers say they were able to locate the farm animal’s owner and safely reunite the sheep with them.

The sheep is now back home.
