Maine State Police are investigating the deaths of a man and woman in Rumford.
The body were found by Rumford Police, who were doing a welfare check at a home on Franklin Street just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The bodies are being taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsies to confirm their identities and manners of death.
State Police say there is no danger to the public. They say an investigation remains active and ongoing.
