Maine’s congressional delegation reacting after Hamas released all living hostages after two years of violence in Gaza.
President Trump and other world leaders signed a ceasefire deal in Egypt on Monday following the return of 20 living hostages from Gaza to Israel.
Sen. Susan Collins said it was a heartfelt relief to see hostages returned to their families, and said her heart goes out to those who could not return home.
It is such a heartfelt relief to see the remaining surviving hostages finally coming home to their families. They have endured a nightmare in Hamas captivity during these past two years, and I applaud the Trump Administration’s work to bring them home.
