A teenage boy is accused of setting fires and ransacking a home in Rangeley.

The teenager allegedly broke into an empty home on Pleasant Street on Friday before setting multiple fires that self-extinguished.

The suspect, later identified as a 14-year-old boy who was on supervised release, is also accused of setting a fire at the Saddleback View Apartments earlier this month.

He was arrested and charged with arson on Monday before being taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.
